lol...I think on my last update (45738274583 years ago) I said I would start updating frequently...and we all see how that went...
I am really going to try from now on, I need to take more pictures anyways.

In game has been very good to me as of late. Although I havn't been able to get on too much lately due to life, I have found great fun in limbus, as well as the new expansion.
Limbus is a whole lot of fun, and just began doing it a few weeks ago. Now I have begun to regularly trio NW Apollyon with 2 BLM friends of mine. We are averaging about 30 coins a run, which is nice bank when you are trying to save up for shit you have wanted for a long time.

The new expansion is damn good. I really like the assault and the options sanction gives you. Usually, you have to camp some shit for a month or beat the missions in order to get the best item an expansion offers, but this time it is easily obtainable after just 20 or so merits. Multi-tasking 4tw.

I've really been procrastinating on my subjobs as of late, all I have to do is finish up smn (32 atm) and drk (10 atm) to have my application done for endgame linkshells over the summer...I'm just so god damn lazy.

Hands stiffen. Pupils shrink to the size of specks. Adrenaline begins to flow. You are immersed in a video game. When video games first arrived into the American spotlight in the late 1970’s, people were unsure of its usefulness and fun. It slowly began to pickup, and by the time the first console, or home gaming system, came out, video games had already cemented its place among American entertainment. Millions of people flocked to the local department store to be among the first to get their hands on the Nintendo Entertainment System. And then 5 years after that, Americans fought to be the first to get the Super Entertainment system. Thus it has been for several years now. Millions upon millions of Americans consistently sit down and play video games for prolonged periods of time. There is something about these games that makes people like me sleep outside Target for 16 hours waiting for the newest, hottest release. This creates a burning question: Is this new form of entertainment good for the vast majority of people? Or do these games only turn people into murderers and hermits? As much as parents would love not to hear, video games actually have a good affect on people.
Personally, one thing that I love about video games is the fact that it can bring together so many people, with so many different backgrounds. For example: You can sit in your house, in Sacramento California, turn on your Xbox, and talk to somebody that lives in Germany while playing your game. You can work together to complete a common goal, or be foes and go head-to-head. Either way, you have a very unique chance to talk to, or even make a personal connection to somebody that lives halfway across the world. This is an amazing innovation. The internet just made it a possibility; gaming has made it a reality. Gaming has made it possible to interact with people you normally would not, unlike common instant messaging services on the computer where you only talk to the people you wish to talk to. Not only do you just have a chance to interact with other people, but you can also make completely new friends. I play online games on my computer. Through online gamea, I have met thousands of people, from a limitless possibility of backgrounds. Through the months, some of these online acquaintances have turned into more than just acquaintances, they have become friends. I am not just talking about someone that you talk to on occasion, but somebody that you talk to for advice, someone that you just enjoy being around and talking to, and someone that you interact with almost on a daily basis. I have come to know their likes, dislikes, hobbies, and personality to a T…or do I? How is someone to tell that the person behind the pixels is not completely different from who they say they are? I have pondered this question for many nights and have come up with an answer: Does it really matter? If the person is actually an obese, 40 year old living in his parents basement, does it matter? It really does not matter who it really is, but who I think it is. Either way, I have a person I can hang out with online and laugh with. Either way I have a friend I can come to online when I want to have a good time. I have an outlet that I know will be there. And when he moves on, so shall I.
Parents constantly bicker with their children about video games today. When parents try to restrict play time, the child finds it unfair and complains. Parents believe games to be a mindless outlet from the world, and that it’s actually making their child stupid. A perfect phrase can be used for this mindset: “One is afraid of that they do not understand.” Parents have given little effort to understand why people enjoy games so much, and they see their child want to play for long hours at a time. This makes parents assume it is bad. If you delve down deeper, however, you may come to understand that games may not be such a bad thing after all. Most games now require a good deal of reading to be done to understand what is going on. This text can be anywhere from a 2nd grade reading level on up to even a college level. What is it that parents want a child to do over anything? Read a book. Books have complex story lines, that is a known fact. What is relatively unknown, however, is that many games also share just as complex plots, and in some cases, even more complex plots. Not only this, but the story lasts longer and you are able to understand moods much more easily. Apart from the plot aspect, games also introduce a very large amount of problem solving. Whether it is how to save the princess, or how to move several different blocks into a position that enables you to climb a ladder, games can not only be fun and challenging, but educational as well. Figuring out how to monetarily save up for an in-game, item, while taking into account economic changes such as inflation, stimulates brain activity. It forces you to think and plan out your next moves, because each move could be your little pixels last. Although these elements of video games may or may not be as prevalent in some as much as in others, it exists to a point in almost all games, and is therefore good for critical thinking.
My personal connection to games in very strong. A large chunk of my free time at home is spent in front of the computer, typing away to many different people while fighting large dragons. The game I play had its own economy, social classes, and social people. I have learned many skills that can be useful in the future, like predicting fluctuations in prices of different items, and understand just how the rich get poor, and the poor get rich. Even though I would never actually consider meeting them face-to-face, I have met several friends online that I really enjoy playing with. Now although these games do have advantages, I do not think it is right for somebody to play for 24 hours straight or something crazy like that. Anyone that thinks sitting in a computer chair for more than 8 hours at a time is good for you needs to get their head examined. Just like anything else, moderation is good.

And then last night I finally complete my nin sub and decide to go see what I can do in Monastic Cavern. I get there figuring to solo mobs for Quake...and to my HUGE suprise...

Quick /sea region and nobody even remotely close to being able to take a shot at it. Tell ls, they take their golly gee time, and, just as I would have guessed, TV shows 30 minutes later while ls still in jeuno. Would like to give a shoutout to Megaflare, biggest asscunt on the server. Was damn funny though, randomly being in the right place at the right time.

LS stuff: Uh...controversy over rules and scheduling atm, hopefully will be cleared up sometime in the next week, for im getting rather tired of it. Hopefully will start ground HNM soon, I guess ls is taking a stab at Jimmy tomorrow while I'm at work oO.

School has started~, although I am not as mad as I usually am at this time. Looking forward to seeing some people (1 in particular ;))

FFXI has been put on the backburner lately due to school, link crew, and halo 2.

TeamVada hasn't gotten too many claims since update, but I think it's our own fault. We don't do too much stuff anymore besides the usualy Behemoth and King Arthro. King Behemoth has been a zoo as of late...the lag makes it almost unbearable for me. When you lag more in Behemoth's Dominion than Dynamis...you know there is a problem.

IRON brings like 30+ people to each pull, but I can't really blame them, it works. I think it got up to 171 people in zone...eventually hit 3.5 FPS -.-

Maintenence taking too damn long. I was hoping that they would let you update a little bit early like they have done a few times, but it doesn't look like that is the case ,_,.

ForceElite started our wtfpwning of sky this weekend. We farm all week and got the god drops, and did our second set of gods (my first) and first sets of Kirin.

First, it was suzaku. We did a total of 6 of these. Ended up getting 2 shining cloths and 2 D. cloths.

Then, it was off to Genbu. Aqua hands drop, but blm had more points than me ;;. Only did one genbu ><.

After that, came seiryu(sp?). Did 4 of these I think? Nothing fancy if I remember right.

Then was Byakko. We did this at about midnight my time, and I literally had no sleep for the 40 hours leading up to it. I ended up falling asleep on the couch about 50 minutes before we started. An hour later, I wake up to byakko running around murdering people ><. We ended up killing while I was in the after-sleep daze, and somehow I got this o_O

Kinda sad to see my pimp hat go, but I will macro it in for nukes I suppose.

The next day we did a total of 3 Kirins. Our first one started out well, but add alliance had trouble killing the god adds. We neded up wiping on the last one summoned I think. We did not do too bad for our first attempt as an ls though. Our next attempt went much more smoothly, and we took him down in about 1 hour 15 minutes. Drops!

Our last attempt was rocky. We only had 2 rangers and 2 black mages when we started, and Kirin's auto-regen sucks. We took adds fine, but Kirin was difficult because of no damage. We ended up killing in about 2 hours 30 minutes lol. Sorry AD, you had to sit and watch the whole thing ><.

Omg I do believe this is proof SE is listening and willing to use our suggestions. My brother talked about changing boots and hairpin to rare/ex months ago. But hell, a little late than never. Only thing is that they forgot Mee Deggi and Quu Domi ;;. NPC thing sounds cool, might need one to help me solo some HNMs d(^.^)d. They also made it sounds like they changed the kiting system for HNMs, maybe making it more difficult for shits like the trio to bust out their shananagans.
Anyways, gonna go play some halo 2 ^^

Have not posted in a while because I have been slightly busy. I am now level 72 ^_^. Yay errant gear.
I have been unable to attend the last 3 KB pops we have claimed now, which can clearly be seen in my gil ;;. For some reason, TV just can not claim Fafnir/Nidhogg to save our lives. I think it is due to lag personally D: Dragon's Aery is insane when windows are open.

Had a convo with a GM when somebody held King Arthro for 30 minutes. They claimed it solo (do not ask me how), and ran around a tree for 30 minutes until his buddy showed up. Only one of the many convo's I had with the GM about it. Basically, the GM was an ass.

Umemaru (jp in ls) offered to help me camp Joyeuse NM later on. I went there the next day not knowing spawn time, and there is Charby, 2 hours later. Thank you to Biggest, Karnian, Raikku, Nenn, and the blm (sorry, I forgot your name ,_,).

Did Ballista 10 with Raikku a few nights ago. Was really fun, except I really do not understand how you get a gate breach. One time, I kill someone, no gate breach. 30 seconds later, someone dies next to me and I don't even touch him and I have gate breach. Some screenies.

I don't know how this happened, but his corpse ended up in the tree.

Got an uber monk party today. We got about 7.5k an hour ^_^. I like it a lot more because it is less pressure on rdm...yea...I'm lazy. We got up to chain 25 I think, but this is the chain I took a pic on.
Yay for almost being 73.

After that party, I decided to give Vrtra a little visit. It went a little like this:

Again, not too much going on D:
Camping a lot of HNMs lately with Vada. We started to do Fafnir, but it is nearly impossible to claim with material blue's packet sniffers. Faffy constantly claims running towards one of their members claimed, so not much we can do unless it's out of range =\. We have also started doing Simurgh, the orc HNM, and even serket. Looks like what I wanted to happen is happening :D.
Only picture I have is of Simurgh like a week ago. I keep forgetting to take pics ><.

Went to King Arthro 2 nights ago and there were only 7 of us. No drop though =(. Next Night I go, and there are 6 of us. I'm thinking would be sweet if belt dropped, because that's a lot of gil each. I have to go pick up my sister, and when I get back to comp an hour later...there are about 30 people there not from ls, which is wierd, because we were the only ones there the night before -.-;;.
Damnit SE, please remove the /sea TeamVada function -.-;;. We didn't get claim because we were lagging so badly. OH well, maybe next time.

Got my computer up and running

SO I just got my computer back and up and running after whiping the hard drive. Took about 12 hours total to install and update ffxi. Internet kept going out fucking up the process XD. Other than that, not too much going on. In a crappy pt right now, looking for some entertainment. Oh, and bought erase this morning and went over and got whm to 32. {Sweets}.

I've wanted em ever since I was level 60, so it's nice to have them. I was supposed to buy erase and a few other things with the gil but meh, <3 meh gloves.

Did ENM60 this morning with raikku and theo...Got the 2k i needed for level 70 AND...

Yay~! I think it is the only one on the server. Thanks to theo and raikku ^^

YAY my first entry...

Not too much going on at the moment...need to figure out where the hell my windower pics go so I can start posting pics.

Got pwned earlier, converted on a mob, stoneskin dropped, and I got crit'd for 82 :x. Dropped me to level 70 but w/e ENM60 tomorrow hopefully. Jwb needs to become unbusy so we can do it with him XD.
Currently camping Thiefs knife for Playerfive, he deserves to get one.

TeamVada is an excellent linkshell, I like how they are structured. I just need to ask for a sky pearl from them. I also wanna start doing more HNMs such as Fafnir/Nidhogg. Maybe soon, who knows. Thanks again Raikku for getting me in, I owe ya one ^^;.
